Philosophy

To apply original illustration to different surfaces, creating exclusive objects that bring together design, art and functionality — produced in limited quantities.

Illustrart was founded in October 2010 by designer Isabel Coelho — not to launch a product, but to apply her own illustration to things people actually use. Each collection carries its own visual identity and is produced in limited quantities, keeping the emphasis on detail, drawing and the exclusive character of each piece. The sardine cushion. The tote bag. The keychain you end up keeping. All of it starts with a drawing — and stays true to it.
