Longlife was founded in 2017 with the ambition to create distinctive, exclusive handcrafted products deeply connected to Portugal. From the very beginning, the brand focused on working with local producers and artisans, incorporating national materials and know‑how — from cork and wood to natural essences and traditional ingredients such as olive oil and grape seed oil.

One of the first milestones was the challenge of creating a commemorative soap for the centenary of the apparition of Our Lady of Fátima. That project led to new collections inspired by Portuguese identity and gave rise to the Essências de Portugal concept.
