Philosophy
To create socks in Portugal in a sustainable way, combining bold design, technical quality and fair production.
The Captain Socks was born in March 2018 during a second walk along the Camino de Santiago, when long days of rain and constant sock changes sparked the desire to create a simple product that was truly well made.
From that first idea came reflections on comfort, identity and personal expression, leading to a long process of research, material testing and visits to factories in Portugal, with the aim of developing socks that bring together quality, design and authenticity.
Guided by a bold, positive attitude, the brand is built on the belief that the small details of everyday life can be a form of individual expression.
Today, every product is designed and produced in Portugal in a sustainable, fair and balanced way, marking the beginning of a new chapter for those who walk with personality.
